Amberlea Guest House is situated in the green & leafy suburbs of Clarendon on the northern slopes of Pietermaritzburg. We are within 2km of The Wykeham Collegiate & Cordwalles schools as well as a 2 minute drive from the CBD (12 minutes from the Liberty Midlands Mall). Warm hospitality is matched by excellent facilities. A stately Maritzburg family home extended to be a guest house. Rooms are en-suite with private entrances and very secure.

The Darling Room:

The Darling Room has a magnificent King-size extra-length bed but can also be configured with two single beds. The bathroom is quite lovely and very spacious! Decor is deep rich red combining natural earthy colours with a touch of darling. The room opens out onto a private courtyard where breakfast can be enjoyed.

The Andy Room:

The Andy Room has a lounge/kitchen area with a quaint staircase leading to the main bedroom above. The view from the bedroom is over the city with its twinkling lights at night. This room also has a King-size bed and can be configured with 2 single beds.
